Minister Fassam says 10 major PPP projects are underway
Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Noura Al-Fassam has disclosed that 10 major development projects are currently underway or in the planning stages under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Law.
Speaking at the opening of the Third Kuwait Conference on Public-Private Partnerships, Al-Fassam highlighted that these projects span vital sectors such as renewable energy, healthcare, communications infrastructure, and environmental sustainability, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Fassam has identified the key projects including:
- Al-Zour North Power and Water Station (Phases Two and Three)
- Khairan Power and Water Station
- Dabdaba Renewable Energy Project
- Fixed Communications Network Project
She emphasized that these initiatives reflect Kuwait’s commitment to sustainable development and infrastructure advancement, noting that partnerships with the private sector play a pivotal role in driving economic growth and diversifying the national economy.
