Minister Al-Mashaan overhauls advertisement regulations
Mobile vehicle advertisements will incur a fee of five dinars per square meter per month. Seasonal advertisements will also be charged five dinars per square meter per month.

An annual fee of 75 dinars per square meter will be charged for animated electronic advertisements, while fixed and non-animated electronic commercial advertisements will incur a fee of 50 dinars per square meter annually.
Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, the Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, issued a significant ministerial decision to amend the advertisement regulations.
The decision, which was published in the Official Gazette, included amending the second paragraph of Clause (C) regarding billboards measuring 5.5 meters from the ground surface and not more than 8.5 meters.
The amendment stipulates that a monthly financial fee is collected per square meter for advertisements. Mobile vehicle advertisements licensed by the Ministry of Commerce will incur a fee of five dinars per month per square meter, and a monthly financial fee of five dinars will be collected for seasonal advertisements per square meter.
A financial fee of 75 dinars will be collected annually per square meter for animated electronic advertisements, and a financial fee of 50 dinars will be collected annually per square meter for fixed and non-animated electronic commercial advertisements.
