MEW introduces new e-service for water meter installation certificate

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has launched a new electronic service through the unified government services app, “Sahel,” aimed at streamlining public access to utility documentation.

According to a post on the ministry’s official “Sahel” account on the X platform, the newly introduced service enables users to request and receive an official certificate confirming the installation date of their water meter, reports Al-Jarida daily.

This initiative is part of the ministry’s broader efforts to enhance digital transformation and improve the efficiency of service delivery to citizens and residents.
