Meteorology Department warns of fog and reduced visibility overnight

The Meteorology Department has warned of a decline in horizontal visibility due to fog, which may drop to less than 1,000 meters in some areas, particularly during the late night and early morning hours.
The department stated that the weather alert will remain in effect for eight hours, from midnight until 8:00 am tomorrow, urging motorists to exercise caution while driving.
According to the forecast, daytime weather will be cool and partly cloudy, with variable to southeasterly winds blowing at light to moderate speeds of 6–32 km/h, along with a chance of scattered rain, reports Al-Rai daily.
At night, conditions are expected to turn cold and partly cloudy, with light to moderate southeasterly to variable winds ranging between 6–26 km/h. There is also a possibility of light scattered rain and fog forming in some areas.
