
The Meteorological Department has forecast generally hot weather during the day and moderate to hot conditions at night over the weekend.
Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali told KUNA that Kuwait is currently under the influence of a high-pressure system extending from the northwest, with light to moderate northwesterly winds expected to pick up occasionally.
Tonight, the temperatures will moderate to 26–28°C, with light to moderate winds of 12–38 km/h. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves rising between 2 and 6 feet during the day and 2–5 feet at night.
Friday will see daytime highs of 36–38°C, with northwesterly to variable winds at 10–32 km/h. Night temperatures will drop slightly to 23–25°C, with light to moderate variable winds. Sea conditions are expected to remain calm, with waves between 1 and 4 feet.
On Saturday, daytime temperatures will peak at 38–40°C under light to moderate northwesterly winds of 12–38 km/h, accompanied by some scattered clouds.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 22 to 24°C, with similar wind speeds and cloud cover. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves between 2 and 5 feet throughout the day and night.
Overall, residents and visitors are advised to take precautions against the heat during the day, stay hydrated, and remain aware of occasional dust and variable sea conditions.
