
The Meteorological Department has forecast warm to moderate daytime weather across the country this weekend, with temperatures dropping noticeably during the night.
Acting Director of the department, Dharar Al-Ali, told KUNA that Kuwait is currently affected by an extension of a northwestern high-pressure system accompanied by a moderate, humid air mass, with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds.
Al-Ali said that Friday’s weather will be moderate, with wind speeds ranging between 6 and 28 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to be between 27°C and 29°C.
He added that nighttime conditions will turn cool to cold, with northwesterly to variable winds and some scattered clouds.
Minimum temperatures are forecast to range between 9°C and 11°C.
Al-Ali added, Saturday’s weather during daytime will be mild with scattered clouds, and highs will range between 26°C and 28°C.
Nighttime temperatures will again fall to between 9°C and 11°C, with partly cloudy skies and light, variable winds blowing at 6–22 kilometers per hour.
