Met department warns of unstable weather
The Meteorology Department has issued a warning of active northwesterly winds beginning at 11:25 a.m. today and continuing until 5:25 p.m., with speeds exceeding 50 km/h, likely to cause dust storms.
The department also cautioned that horizontal visibility may be significantly reduced, while sea waves are expected to rise above 6 feet.
