The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has called on all owners of mobile cart licenses to obtain the new smart license through the Ministry’s website via the Commercial Registry portal.
License holders are required to display the smart license prominently on their carts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Ministry explained that the smart license consolidates all necessary regulatory approvals and can be easily verified electronically, enhancing oversight and helping regulate mobile vehicle operations.
The authorities emphasized that compliance with these instructions must be completed by December 31, 2025, warning that failure to obtain or display the smart license will result in accountability and enforcement measures under the applicable regulations.
