MCI issues 51 violation reports in Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced on Thursday that inspection campaigns conducted by its emergency teams in the governorates of Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer resulted in the issuance of 51 violation reports, primarily related to non-compliance with decisions aimed at stabilizing food prices.

According to a statement to the Kuwait News Agency, violations recorded in Al-Ahmadi Governorate included selling goods above the specified price, failing to display prices, irregularities in promotional offers, not issuing invoices, and not specifying the country of origin.

In addition, two violation notices were issued for businesses operating outside the scope of their licensed activity.

The Ministry emphasized that monitoring campaigns will continue to ensure compliance with pricing regulations and enhance consumer protection across the markets.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining fair trade practices and taking prompt action against violations.
