MC approves EPA request to cancel old Shuwaikh Police Station site for environment purposes

The Municipal Council Capital Governorate Committee has approved the request of the Environment Public Authority to cancel the decision to allocate the site of the old Shuwaikh Police Station building in the Third Shuwaikh area for environmental purposes.

During the meeting yesterday, the committee also kept on its agenda the amendment to the council’s decision to approve a donation from a company to build a multi-story parking facility and beautify adjacent public squares in the “East” area, Block 7, according to Al-Rai daily.

Additionally, the committee discussed a proposal by member Engineer Abdul Latif Al-Da’i regarding the temporary allocation of a walkway in the Kaifan area, Block 7.

The committee also addressed a disagreement regarding a letter from one of the families about the construction of a service corridor to the family council in the Al-Dahiya area, Block 4.
