Mass held for good health of His Holiness Pope Francis

A solemn Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated on Sunday 9 March by His Grace Archbishop Eugene M. Nugent on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the election of His Holiness Pope Francis at the Holy Family Cathedral in Kuwait City.

Prayers were also held for the complete recovery and good health of His Holiness Pope Francis, and for a speedy return to his sacred and important duties.

A large gathering of diplomats, well wishers and faithful attended the prayer service.

Pope Francis, 88, who has been in hospital since 14 February with pneumonia in both lungs, has been gradually improving.
