Major traffic accident disrupts traffic flow on Jahra Road
Following a significant traffic incident on Monday involving an overturned truck and a collision between three vehicles just before the Amghara Bridge in the direction of Jahra all the four lanes on the road were blocked disrupting to traffic flow in the area.
The Ministry of Interior said vehicular traffic was diverted to the Doha Link Road for motorists traveling from Messila towards Jahra to ease congestion and ensure safety, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Ministry added emergency services were deployed to the scene of the accident to clear the road and lift the overturned truck to the side of the road.
The Ministry added all necessary measures were taken to restore normal traffic but until then detour signs were placed advising motorists to drive with caution.
