Major road maintenance projects kick off in Saad Al-Abdullah City

Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mishaan, announced the launch of a comprehensive road maintenance campaign in Saad Al-Abdullah City, marking the beginning of a new phase in the government’s road rehabilitation initiative.

Dr. Al-Mashaan explained that the Saad Al-Abdullah City project is one of 18 major road development projects currently being implemented nationwide. These projects span all six governorates and are designed to revamp and rehabilitate deteriorated roadways, reports Al-Rai daily.

She stressed that the ultimate objective is to elevate the overall quality of the road network, improve traffic flow, and enhance safety standards for all road users. The Minister reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to executing these projects efficiently and in line with the highest engineering and safety standards.

Dr. Al-Mashaan also noted that follow-up mechanisms are in place to monitor progress and ensure timely completion, with coordination between various governmental bodies and contractors.
