Al-Wuhaib inspects malls, reviews security, emergency preparedness

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, conducted an inspection tour of several shopping malls to ensure security preparedness and monitor the deployment of foot patrols within the malls and the presence of patrols outside.

In a press statement issued Thursday, the Ministry of Interior stated that during the tour, Major General Al-Wuhaib received a briefing on the plans in place to secure shoppers and was briefed in detail on the Civil Defense plans and approved emergency procedures.

These include safe evacuation plans and shelter preparations for immediate response to any potential danger, ensuring the highest levels of readiness to deal with all circumstances in light of the current situation in the region.

The statement added that during his inspection of security checkpoints, Major General AlWuhaib stressed the need for complete vigilance, alertness, rapid response, and the firm application of the law to maintain security and public order and address any negative phenomena, thus providing a safe environment for citizens and residents.

According to the statement, Major General Al-Wuhaib praised the readiness and high morale of the security personnel, appreciating their efforts in carrying out their assigned tasks and directing them to continue their dedication and enhance security performance to enforce the rule of law and maintain the security and stability of the country.
