Major-General Al-Dawas inspects security sectors and correctional institutions

As part of the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to enhancing field readiness and monitoring the progress of work across its security sectors, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major-General Hamed Al-Dawas, carried out an inspection tour of the Private Security Sector and correctional institutions, accompanied by Brigadier-General Dakhil Al-Dakhil, Head of the Sector.
The tour began at the Directorate-General of Special Forces, where Major-General Al-Dawas reviewed advanced training halls and fields. He praised the high level of combat readiness, discipline, and professionalism demonstrated by Special Forces personnel. He also visited the Special Forces Museum, which showcases the sector’s security heritage.
The inspection concluded with a visit to the Central Prison, where Al-Dawas was briefed on operating mechanisms designed to uphold human rights standards. He reviewed rehabilitation and reform programs aimed at helping inmates reintegrate into society, as well as oversight systems ensuring a safe and humane environment.
Major General Al-Dawas emphasized that the Ministry of Interior remains committed to developing training programs and enhancing security preparedness. These efforts, he noted, strengthen stability, safeguard society, and reinforce Kuwait’s overall security framework.
