Major General Al-Adwani visits KIA to ensure safe and orderly return of pilgrims
Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ali Al-Adwani, was on an inspection tour of Kuwait International Airport to oversee the preparations and arrangements made to welcome Hajj pilgrims returning home.
Upon arrival, he was received by Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Ports Security, Brigadier General Atef Ali Al-Habashi, along with a number of senior security officials, according to Al-Rai daily.
During the visit, Major General Al-Adwani conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, to all Ministry personnel stationed at the airport.
He commended their dedication, professionalism, and tireless efforts to ensure safe return of pilgrim in total comfort. The inspection covered key areas, including security checkpoints, passport control halls, and passenger reception zones.
Al-Adwani closely reviewed the operational workflow, coordination between different sectors of the Ministry, and the level of collaboration with relevant airport authorities.
He also monitored the on-ground efforts to manage vehicular traffic and ensure the smooth movement of travelers and their companions in and around the airport premises.
Major General Al-Adwani praised the high level of preparedness demonstrated by the security teams and supporting units, highlighting their role in maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for returning pilgrims.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to providing the highest standards of service and security to all citizens and visitors.
