Lumbini wins the title of “NRNA Kuwait Volleyball Cup 2024”

The Lumbini Society Nepal Kuwait claimed victory in the “NRNA Kuwait Volleyball Cup 2024” organized by NRNA NCC Kuwait.

The tournament saw participation from 13 teams, including two teams from Bhutan. In a thrilling competition, Kalyankari Nepali Youth Society secured second place, while Nirem Group finished third.

The event was chaired by NRNA NCC Kuwait President Randhwoj Lama. The Chief Guest was Nepal’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ghanashyam Lamsal, with Bhutanese Ambassador Chitem Tenzin attending as the Special Guest. Representatives from both embassies and local community organizations were also present.

The tournament featured the largest cash prize in the history of Kuwaiti volleyball, which greatly motivated the participating players. The event also highlighted the growing interest and popularity of volleyball in the region.

Expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the successful event, NCC Kuwait Vice President and Sports Department Chief, Bikash Singh Thakuri, pledged to continue organizing similar sports activities in the future.
