Lulu Hypermarket rolls out Indian Mango Festival at AlRai outlet

Lulu Hypermarket, the region’s leading retail chain, inaugurated its much-anticipated Indian Mango Festival on July 23, at its AlRai outlet, showcasing the richness and diversity of India’s favorite summer fruit. The event was held exclusively at Lulu Hypermarket AlRai, offering Kuwaiti customers a vibrant, flavor-filled celebration of Indian mangoes.
The grand opening ceremony was graced by H.E. Dr. Adarsh Swaika, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, accompanied by Mr. Sanjay Muluka, Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Davinder Punj, Second Secretary (Commerce), and Mr. Sandeep Saha, Officer from APEDA (Agriculture & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority). Lulu Kuwait’s senior management also participated in the event, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to bringing high-quality Indian produce to local consumers.
The festival features six premium varieties of mangoes imported directly from India, each renowned for its distinctive taste, aroma, and texture – Amrapali, Fazli, Mallika, Langra, Chausa and Dusheri.To celebrate the vibrant essence of the mango season, Lulu AlRai resembled mango-themed extravaganza with eye-catching displays.
Shoppers enjoyed free sampling counters, experienced the juicy flavors before purchase. In addition, a special culinary section was curated, offering an array of mango-based creations, including — Mango cakes and pastries, Traditional Indian sweets, Fresh smoothies, juices, and shakes and pickles, chutneys, and other gourmet delicacies.
The Indian Mango Festival at Lulu was part of an ongoing effort to promote Indian agricultural exports and strengthen Indo-Kuwaiti trade relations, especially in the food and fresh produce sectors.This unique promotion is available only at Lulu Hypermarket AlRai, and shoppers are encouraged to visit early to take full advantage of the wide selection of seasonal mango delights.
