LOYAC’s Board of Trustees welcomes Sheikha Adana Al-Sabah, reviews 2024 milestones and strategic vision

The Board of Trustees of LOYAC held its annual meeting to review the organization’s achievements in 2024 and discuss future strategic plans aimed at empowering youth and promoting sustainable development. The meeting was chaired by Mohammed Jassim Al-Saqr and attended by Board Chairwoman and Trustee Farah Al-Saqqaf.

A key highlight of the meeting was the appointment of Sheikha Adana Nasser Al-Sabah to the Board of Trustees. Al-Saqr described her as a “valuable addition” to LOYAC’s leadership, expressing optimism about her role in shaping the organization’s future.

Al-Saqqaf welcomed her by recalling the legacy of Sheikha Amal Al-Sabah, who led LOYAC during its early years, stating that Adana’s involvement will bring “support, stability, and prosperity” to its journey.

Sheikha Adana expressed her appreciation, saying, “LOYAC is an inspiring model for creating positive and sustainable impact in society, and I look forward to achieving more successes together.” Trustee Dr. Marwan Muasher also commended her appointment, highlighting the economic and developmental contributions of her business leadership.

During the meeting, attendees viewed documentary films showcasing LOYAC’s accomplishments in Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, and Yemen.

The 2024 highlights include:

  • Thousands of youth trained in practical and life skills across multiple countries.
  • Launch of new entrepreneurship initiatives to support young business founders.
  • Expansion of international partnerships, enhancing job and training opportunities.
  • Success of cultural and artistic initiatives, led by LAPA Academy for Performing Arts.
  • Achievements in sports programs, notably through the AC Milan Football Academy.
  • Environmental sustainability efforts, including green space development strategies.
  • Government partnerships via LOYAC Sustainable Projects Company on major youth-focused tourism and entertainment initiatives, including Winter Wonderland Kuwait, South Al-Sabahiya Park, Al-Balajat Project, and The Arena.

The virtual meeting was attended by numerous LOYAC leaders and representatives from regional branches, including LOYAC Lebanon’s Executive Director Nadia Ahmed and LOYAC Jordan’s Chairwoman Rula Jardana.

LOYAC’s Board reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and fostering sustainable change in the lives of young people.
