UK construction giant Joseph Gallagher establishes presence in Kuwait

London-based Joseph Gallagher will set up its headquarters in Kuwait to focus on bridge and tunnel construction and project management, with a capital of 16,000 dinars and plans for branches both locally and abroad.

Joseph Gallagher Ltd. is the UKs largest subcontractor, with projects worth over £100 million annually.

The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority announced that UK’s Joseph Gallagher has established a sole proprietorship in Kuwait, named Joseph Gallagher Project Management Company. This company will focus on the construction and repair of bridges and tunnels, as well as project management activities, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

According to the decision to establish the company, its main headquarters will be in Kuwait, and it may establish branches and agencies both inside and outside Kuwait. Its capital is set at 16,000 dinars, fully owned by the London-based British company, Joseph Gallagher.

Joseph Gallagher Ltd. is the UK’s largest subcontractor, with projects worth over £100 million annually. The company has participated in some of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, including the London Underground station, among others.
