The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants strongly condemned what it described as a “terrorist plot” targeting the sovereignty and security of the State of Kuwait, firmly denouncing the alleged involvement of Hezbollah in the scheme.
In a statement reported by the National News Agency, the ministry recalled a decision issued by the Lebanese government on March 2, 2026, which bans Hezbollah’s military and security activities, reports Al-Rai daily.
The ministry affirmed Lebanon’s full solidarity with Kuwait, highlighting the Gulf nation’s longstanding support during times of hardship.
It also praised the vigilance of Kuwaiti security authorities in foiling the plot.
Furthermore, the statement expressed Lebanon’s readiness to fully cooperate with Kuwaiti authorities in ongoing investigations, with the aim of ensuring those responsible are held accountable.
