Large-scale nationwide traffic, security campaign targets ‘boisterous road runners’

The Traffic and Operations Sector, through the General Directorate of Emergency Police, carried out a large-scale nationwide traffic and security campaign early Sunday across all governorates, targeting reckless behavior and violations that endanger lives and property.

With strict field coordination, patrols were deployed on both main and side roads, while checkpoints were set up at key locations to monitor motorists, apprehend offenders, and address illegal activities.

The campaign resulted in the arrest of several violators and the issuance of multiple traffic citations, reaffirming the authorities’ commitment to enhancing road safety and public security.
