Kuwait’s weekend weather to witness scattered rains and cold conditions

Kuwait’s Meteorology Department has forecasted a possibility of scattered light rain over the weekend as the country experiences the effects of a high-pressure system extending from northeastern Europe, bringing a cold air mass. However, this system is expected to gradually weaken, leading to a steady rise in temperatures. Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from northwesterly to variable directions.
The Director of the Meteorology Department, Dharar Al-Ali, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Thursday’s weather will be cold and partly cloudy, with winds shifting from variable to northwesterly at light to moderate speeds of 8 to 35 km/h. There is also a chance of scattered light rain. Temperatures are expected to range between 15 and 17°C, while sea conditions will be light to moderate, with waves reaching between 2 and 5 feet.
Al-Ali further stated that tonight’s weather will be cold to very cold, with northwesterly to variable winds blowing at light to moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active in coastal areas at 10 to 40 km/h. Scattered clouds will be present, and temperatures are expected to drop between 5 and 8°C. Sea conditions will be light to moderate, with waves occasionally reaching heights of 2 to 6 feet.
Friday’s weather will be cold, with northwesterly to variable winds blowing at light to moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active in coastal areas at 12 to 40 km/h. Temperatures are expected to range between 17 and 19°C. Sea conditions will remain light to moderate, with waves sometimes reaching heights of 2 to 6 feet.
Moreover, Friday night’s weather will be cold to very cold, with northwesterly to variable winds at light to moderate speeds of 8 to 28 km/h. Temperatures are expected to drop between 8 and 10°C, while sea conditions will remain light to moderate, with waves reaching heights of 1 to 3 feet.
Saturday’s weather will be mild and partly cloudy, with variable northerly winds at light to moderate speeds of 6 to 28 km/h. There is a slight chance of scattered light rain. Temperatures are expected to range between 18 and 20°C, while sea conditions will be light to moderate, with waves reaching between 1 and 3 feet.
Whereas, Saturday night’s weather will be cold, with light to moderate northwesterly winds ranging from 6 to 26 km/h. Scattered clouds are expected to appear, and temperatures will drop to between 11 and 13°C. Sea conditions will remain light to moderate, with waves reaching between 1 and 3 feet.
