Kuwait’s Tebyan expands aviation ambitions with strategic MoU at Global Defense Exhibition

Kuwait’s Tebyan Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with Middle East Propulsion Company (MEPC) during their participation in the World Defense Show 2026, held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from February 8 to 12.

The agreement aims to strengthen frameworks for joint cooperation and expand partnership opportunities in the field of aircraft engine services and specialized technical support.

Under the memorandum, the two sides will establish a strategic framework for integrated technical collaboration, including technology transfer, implementation of advanced training programs, and development of maintenance and technical support services.

The partnership is designed to enhance operational capabilities in aircraft engine services while supporting sustainable growth objectives for both parties.

Chairman of Tebyan, Sayed Najeeb Abdulaziz, described the agreement as an important strategic step aligned with the company’s vision to strengthen its presence in the aviation and defense industries sector.

He emphasized that Tebyan seeks to build high-quality partnerships based on the localization of advanced technologies and the exchange of expertise, contributing to economic development across the Middle East.

For her part, Chief Executive Officer Sheikha Badriya Al-Sabah said the memorandum opens new horizons for technical and professional cooperation and will contribute to the development of an integrated system of specialized services in the aircraft engine sector.

She added that the next phase will witness feasibility studies for joint projects aimed at enhancing regional integration and raising technical readiness levels.

The World Defense Show, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries in Saudi Arabia, serves as a comprehensive global platform for the future of defense industries.

The exhibition highlights the latest technological advancements across land, sea, air, space, and security domains, making it a leading international venue for forging strategic partnerships and exploring opportunities for joint cooperation.
