Meteorologist Issa Ramadan said the most intense heat of the summer season in Kuwait will persist until August 22, marking the region’s annual peak in high temperatures.
Ramadan explained that Kuwait is currently experiencing the “Tali’ Al-Mirzam” and “Jamrat Al-Qayz” periods — known as the hottest stages of the year, associated with astronomical phases like the Second Gemini and Al-Kalbain, reports Al-Qabas daily.
From July 20 to August 22 marks the hottest stretch of the year in Kuwait, often recording the region’s highest temperatures during this time.
Ramadan noted that temperatures are expected to gradually decline after August 22 with the sighting of the Suhail star, which traditionally signals the end of summer and the onset of milder weather.
