Kuwait’s national teams ready to shine at Paris 2024 Olympics

The Paris 2024 Olympics are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11.

Kuwaits participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics upholds its tradition of consistent presence in the Summer Games, a legacy that began with its debut at the Mexico Olympics in 1986.

The Olympic Committee is preparing for a historic participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics, scheduled from July 26 to August 11.

According to Al Anba newspaper, Kuwait’s national team will include ten athletes: Khaled Al-Mudhaf and Mohammed Al-Dihani in archery, Yacoub Al-Youha, Ibrahim Al-Dhafiri, and Amal Al-Roumi in athletics, Youssef Al-Shamlan in fencing, Mohammed Al-Zubaid and Lara Dashti in swimming, Suad Al-Faqaan in rowing, and Amina Shah in sailing.

The official mission includes Sheikh Fahd Al-Nasser, Chairman of the Olympic Committee and head of the delegation participating in the Paris Olympics; Vice President Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Nawaf; Director of the Mission Captain Ali Al-Marri; members of the Board of Directors Sheikh Jaber Thamer Al-Ahmad and Fatima Hayat; Deputy Director of the Mission Najat Al-Sayegh; Technical Director Mohammed Al-Saadi; and media attaché Khalil Nadoum.

Kuwait’s participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics continues its tradition of consistent presence in the Summer Olympics, which began with its first participation in the Mexico Olympics in 1986. Since then, its national teams have regularly participated in the Olympic Games.
