Kuwait’s Interior Ministry participates in ‘Financial Fraud Forum’ in UAE

The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Criminal Security Affairs, Major General Hamed Manahi Al Dawas, led the Ministry of Interior delegation participating in the Financial Fraud Forum, held in the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of an elite group of officials and experts in the field of combating financial crimes from various countries around the world.
Al Dawas was received at the forum’s headquarters, by the Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Abdullah Al Marri, along with several senior Dubai Police leaders. Discussions focused on strengthening security and fraternal cooperation, particularly in combating financial fraud crimes, and enhancing joint mechanisms to address growing challenges in this field.
Moreover, Al-Dawas took part in the opening session, where discussions covered the impact of financial crimes on national and international economies, strategies to mitigate them through advanced legislation and global cooperation, and the role of security agencies in developing proactive measures to protect institutions and individuals.
Al Dawas expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, commending the advanced level Dubai Police has achieved in combating financial crimes and enhancing its systems to keep pace with global developments in this field.
