Kuwait’s housing authority launches first-ever tender for water towers
The Public Authority for Housing Welfare has approved a historic tender for the construction of water towers as part of Kuwait’s affordable housing project; a move aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving residents’ quality of life.
Amina Abdulkarim Al-Awadhi, Deputy Director-General for Control and Information Systems at the Authority, said the Central Tenders Committee’s decision marks the first time such a project has been launched in the Authority’s history.
The initiative reflects the Council of Ministers’ directive to develop integrated residential cities with modern infrastructure to ensure sustainable water services and operational efficiency.
Al-Awadhi called on qualified and experienced companies and contractors to participate in the tender, emphasizing the project’s national importance and its role in supporting one of Kuwait’s vital affordable housing initiatives.
