Kuwait’s central prison carried out execution of six convicts

The execution of a citizen convicted of killing her friend was suspended after the victim’s family accepted blood money in exchange for clemency.

On Thursday morning at 7:00 am, the Criminal Enforcement Prosecution executed the death sentence at the Central Prison for six convicts—three citizens, two Iranians, and one Pakistani. The execution took place inside the central prison after the competent authorities have completed all procedures related to the convicts and all levels of litigation have been finalized, including the final ratification of the sentence.

Informed security sources told the newspaper that the convicts include three citizens, one Iranian, and one Pakistani. They noted that one of the citizens is convicted of killing her friend.
