Kuwait’s Central Bank issues new banknotes ahead of Eid

The Central Bank of Kuwait announced today, Friday, 14th March, that it has successfully supplied all local banks with new Kuwaiti banknotes of various denominations to accommodate customers’ demand for fresh currency in preparation for Eid al-Fitr.

In a press release, the Central Bank stated that customers wishing to obtain new Kuwaiti banknotes in all denominations can visit their local bank branches during official business hours.

What’s more is that Kuwaiti banks will also announce the locations of designated branches offering the “Ayadi” cashing service, along with other methods available for customers to access the new banknotes.

The Central Bank of Kuwait extended its heartfelt congratulations to all citizens and residents on this joyous occasion, praying to God Almighty for continued goodness, blessings, and prosperity for Kuwait, as well as for the Arab and Islamic nations.
