Kuwaitis can now change their address digitally via Sahel App

The Public Authority for Civil Information has announced the launch of a new digital service allowing citizens to change their Kuwaiti address electronically through the “Sahel” mobile application.

This step is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and streamline government services for the convenience of Kuwaiti citizens.

To complete the address change process, users must first log into the “Sahel” app and navigate to the “Individual Services” section. From there, they select the “Change Kuwaiti Address” option, followed by specifying the type of ownership and entering the new automated address number.

Applicants are required to attach essential documents to support the change request, with the ownership document (such as a house deed) being the primary attachment. After submitting the application electronically, users can track its progress through the app until they receive notification of completion.

PACI emphasized that this new digital service eliminates the need for physical visits to government offices, saving time and effort for citizens. It also aligns with Kuwait’s broader national strategy to digitize public services and make administrative processes more accessible.

Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of the “Sahel” app’s capabilities and complete their address changes online. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to expanding digital services to enhance the quality and efficiency of government interactions.
