Kuwaiti women a pillar of youth programs and National Vision 2035

Empowering women is synonymous with empowering society as a whole -- Al-Ansari

Asrar Al-Ansari, official spokesperson for the Public Authority for Youth, reaffirmed the Authority’s strong commitment to empowering Kuwaiti women and enhancing their capabilities by actively involving them in its diverse programs and activities. This engagement is designed to cultivate leadership skills, unlock creative potential, and support women in achieving their professional and personal aspirations.

In a press statement issued Thursday on the occasion of Kuwaiti Women’s Day, which is celebrated on Friday, May 16, Al-Ansari emphasized that under the direction of Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, the Authority prioritizes integrating female talents into its initiatives. “Empowering women is synonymous with empowering society as a whole,” she stated.

Al-Ansari praised the effective and enriching participation of young Kuwaiti women in various youth programs, noting that their contributions have been pivotal to the success of many initiatives. She highlighted their key role as partners in nation-building and drivers of progress and innovation, reports Al-Rai daily

The Authority, she noted, has launched a wide range of qualitative programs to promote women’s involvement in youth and civic engagement, aligned with the goals of “New Kuwait 2035”. These initiatives open new pathways for leadership, innovation, and community contribution.

Al-Ansari also applauded the female employees of the Public Authority for Youth, describing them as role models of dedication and excellence. Working alongside their male colleagues, they have played an instrumental role in delivering high-quality services and implementing successful youth programs.

She concluded by emphasizing that the Authority’s initiatives are in response to the ongoing support from Kuwait’s political leadership, and extended her congratulations to Kuwaiti women on their national day—a symbolic recognition of their vital role in shaping the country’s present and future.
