The Ministry of Higher Education stated that it is closely monitoring the situation of Kuwaiti students in the United States, particularly in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas, through ongoing coordination with the Cultural Office in Los Angeles. This is being done under the guidance and direct oversight of Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in response to recent events involving strong winds and fires in the region, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The ministry confirmed in a statement the safety of all students, noting that they have not faced any difficulties under these circumstances, especially since most universities are located far from the fire-affected areas.
