Kuwaiti sends ‘Qaruh’ to Qatar for Doha Maritime Defense Exhibition
The Kuwaiti Army announced the departure of the naval force vessel “Qaruh” to the sisterly State of Qatar, in response to an invitation from the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces to participate in the Ninth Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026), scheduled to take place from January 19 to 22, 2026, reports Al-Rai daily.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army stated that this participation comes within the framework of strengthening regional cooperation, enhancing naval capabilities, keeping pace with the latest maritime defense technologies, and exchanging expertise in the naval field.
The participation is also aimed at raising the operational efficiency and professional readiness of naval personnel, in line with Kuwait’s commitment to joint Gulf and regional defense cooperation.
