Kuwaiti passport third in the Arab world, 45th in the world

The Kuwaiti passport is ranked 45th in the world, according to the Global Passport Index for 2024, as it allows entry to 112 countries (62 without a visa, and 50 granted a visa upon arrival).

At the Arab and Gulf levels, the Kuwaiti passport is ranked third after the Emirati passport, which ranked first as the most powerful passport in the world, as it allows entry to 180 countries (132 without a visa, and 48 granted a visa upon arrival), the Qatari passport ranked 44th in the world and second in Arab and allows entry to 117 countries (73 without a visa and 44 granted a visa upon arrival).

According to the index the Kuwaiti passport has advanced one place compared to 2023, when it was ranked 46th globally, while maintaining its third rank in the Arab world.

The passport of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked fourth in the Arab world and 47th in the world, allowing entry to 101 countries (56 without a visa, and 45 upon arrival). Access).

Globally, the German passport came in second place, along with the Spanish, French, Italian, and Dutch passports (each of which allows entry to 178 countries), while the Swedish passport came in third place globally, along with the Finnish, Luxembourgish, Austrian, and Swiss passports (each of which allows entry to 177 countries).
