Kuwaiti oil surges to $143.04 amid global market gains

The price of Kuwaiti crude oil rose by US $10.36 to reach US $143.04 per barrel in trading on Friday, compared to US $132.68 per barrel on Thursday, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

In global markets, Brent crude futures rose by US $2.68 to reach US $103.14 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose by US $2.98 to reach US $98.71 per barrel.
