Kuwaiti Navy to conduct live ammunition exercises on June 15–16

The Kuwaiti Army’s Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate announced that the naval forces will carry out live ammunition exercises on Sunday and Monday, June 15 and 16, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.
In an official statement released today, the Directorate clarified that the drills will take place at the designated marine shooting range, which spans two key zones — 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julaia, extending to Qaruh Island and 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour, extending to Umm Al-Maradem Island.
The army urged citizens, residents, beachgoers, and fishermen to avoid these areas during the scheduled times to ensure their safety.
The live-fire exercises are part of routine training operations aimed at enhancing the readiness and operational capabilities of Kuwait’s naval forces.
