Kuwaiti gets death penalty for fatal assault

The Criminal Court, presided over by Counselor Abdul Wahab Al-Muaili, has issued a death sentence against a Kuwaiti citizen found guilty of beating a young girl to death.

The tragic incident took place in the Hawalli Governorate, where the victim was violently assaulted by the accused, who, according to initial investigations, was in an abnormal state and in possession of drug-related items at the time of the crime, reports Al-Rai daily.

The suspect was arrested and referred to the legal authorities.
