Kuwaiti Forces Shoot Down 2 Missiles and 7 Drones in 24 Hours

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense affirmed that military and security authorities continue to carry out their duties with full efficiency, taking necessary defensive measures to safeguard the country’s airspace.
This came in remarks by the ministry’s official spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, during a media briefing.
Al-Atwan said that during the past 24 hours, two ballistic missiles were detected after entering Kuwaiti airspace and were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems in the south of the country. The armed forces also destroyed a drone after detecting it in the north.
The Kuwait National Guard managed to destroy six drones after detecting them in the southern region, as part of ongoing military coordination and cooperation between national defense entities, he added.
The spokesperson stressed that members of the armed forces stand united with all military sectors in the country. He concluded by praying for the continued safety and security of Kuwait and its people. – KUNA
