Kuwaiti forces depart to compete in 14th International Warrior Competition in Jordan

A joint force from the 25th Commando Brigade of the Kuwaiti Army and the Special Forces of the Ministry of Interior left Kuwait today morning from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base to take part in the 14th International Warrior Competition, hosted at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center in Jordan.
In a statement, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army emphasized the importance of this internationally recognized event, describing it as one of the most prominent military competitions worldwide, reports Al-Rai daily.
The competition brings together elite special forces units from a wide range of friendly and allied nations, all engaging in intensive challenges that simulate realistic and high-risk combat scenarios.
The statement further highlighted that the competition is designed to sharpen the operational readiness and field efficiency of participating special units, encourage the exchange of expertise in specialized areas such as counterterrorism and special operations, and strengthen military cooperation among participating countries.
Kuwait’s participation in this prestigious event reflects its ongoing commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its armed and security forces through international collaboration and specialized training exercises.
