Kuwaiti envoy presents credentials in Peru

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Brazil, H.E. Talal Al-Mansour, presented his credentials as non-resident ambassador to President Dina Boluarte of Peru in an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Lima.
Ambassador Al-Mansour conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir and the Crown Prince, wishing Peru continued progress and prosperity.
He pointed out that these relations have witnessed rapid development in recent years, especially after the important and successful visit made by the Peruvian Foreign Minister to the State of Kuwait last April.
The Kuwaiti envoy added that the celebration of the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between the two countries reflects the officials’ interest in opening new horizons for cooperation that will enhance continued progress in all areas, achieving the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
During the ceremony, a commemorative stamp was unveiled to mark the occasion. In his speech, the Peruvian Minister praised the distinguished level of bilateral relations, expressing his appreciation for the prominent role played by the State of Kuwait in supporting and strengthening these relations in all fields and at all levels.
Coinciding with Ambassador Al-Mansour’s visit to present his credentials, the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries. The celebration was sponsored by Peruvian Foreign Minister Elmer Chialer Salcedo attended by a number of senior Peruvian officials in the capital, Lima.
In his address to the audience, Al-Mansour emphasized that Kuwaiti-Peruvian relations, since their inception in 1975, have been built on solid foundations of mutual respect, shared interests, and a sincere desire to enhance cooperation in various fields.
Al-Mansour pointed out that these relations have witnessed rapid development in recent years, especially after the important and successful visit made by the Peruvian Foreign Minister to the State of Kuwait last April.

Both sides highlighted the strong foundations of mutual respect and cooperation, noting recent developments, including the Peruvian Foreign Minister’s visit to Kuwait in April, as a milestone in enhancing bilateral ties and opening new avenues for collaboration.
