Kuwaiti envoy praises model partnership between KFAS and German RENAC academy

The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Germany, HE Reem Al-Khaled, commended the strategic partnership between the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG describing it as a model for empowering national talent.

Speaking via videoconference at the opening of the April 2025 training session, the Kuwait envoy welcomed new Kuwaiti participants and highlighted RENAC’s global reputation as a specialized training platform fostering international knowledge exchange in renewable energy and energy efficiency, reports Al-Jarida.

She emphasized that the five-year cooperation with KFAS marks a major milestone in Kuwait’s drive toward a diversified and sustainable economy and reaffirmed her support for all initiatives advancing bilateral cooperation and sustainable development.

Since the partnership began, 170 Kuwaiti engineers from both the public and private sectors have benefited from RENAC’s programs. The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Al-Khaled, KFAS Director General Dr. Amina Farhan, and RENAC Chairman Berthold Breid.
