The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Belgium took part in a charity bazaar held in Brussels, organized by the Asia Pacific Women’s Association, with proceeds supporting efforts to protect women and children in vulnerable areas, including those affected in Gaza and the Sudan.
The event was held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and drew wide participation from members of the diplomatic community, as well as Arab and European families.
The bazaar featured diverse activities, including the distribution of incentive prizes to contributors and visitors, children’s programs, and pavilions offering a range of Asian and Arab cuisines. Exhibits of Arab and traditional products further contributed to the family-friendly environment.
The Kuwaiti Embassy’s pavilion showcased a collection of Kuwaiti products, including traditional garments, food items, national dishes, handicrafts, cultural artifacts, and traditional utensils, all of which received strong interest and appreciation from visitors.
Kuwait’s Ambassador to Belgium, H.E. Nawaf Al-Enezi, highlighted in remarks to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) the significance of such humanitarian initiatives, which help strengthen community ties and promote solidarity with affected populations. He emphasized that these efforts reflect Kuwait’s long-standing humanitarian approach and its globally recognized role in assisting those in need.
Ambassador Al-Enezi expressed his gratitude to the volunteers, participants, and visitors who supported the embassy’s involvement, including Kuwait Petroleum International. He noted that such events encourage humanitarian engagement and leave a meaningful, positive impact on the work of diplomatic missions in serving both humanity and society.
