Kuwaiti Army prepares for first-of-its-kind ‘Al-Jabriya’ joint exercise simulating aircraft hijacking

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Major-General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, inspected preparations for the “Al-Jabriya” joint exercise, set to take place Thursday at Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base under the patronage of the Minister of Defense.

The exercise, the first of its kind, simulates a civilian aircraft hijacking and hostage rescue. It brings together military and civilian agencies, including the Army, Ministry of Interior, Kuwait Fire Force, Ministry of Health, Directorate-General of Civil Aviation, and the Kuwait Airways, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Major General Sabah emphasized the importance of joint coordination, team spirit, and unified efforts to enhance crisis preparedness.
