Kuwaiti Army, KFF in joint field exercise to boost emergency readiness
The exercise was designed to unify operational concepts in emergency response, in accordance with the highest standards of safety and readiness

The Kuwaiti Army announced on Wednesday the successful implementation of a joint field exercise titled “First Line/1”, held in cooperation with the Kuwait Fire Force at the Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base.
The aim of the exercise was to enhance operational readiness and strengthen field coordination among participating entities, reports Al-Jarida daily.
In a press statement, the General Staff of the Army said the exercise was designed to unify operational concepts in emergency response, in accordance with the highest standards of safety and readiness.
The exercise forms part of the cooperation protocol signed between the Kuwaiti Army and the KFF, which seeks to reinforce the foundations of joint national efforts and align the work of military and civilian institutions under a unified national framework, in line with the state’s vision of promoting inter-agency integration.
The scenario included simulated emergency situations and mock alerts to test the speed of response, operational effectiveness, and team coordination across various roles.
Several military units, as well as key ministries and government institutions such as the Army Firefighting Unit, Medical Services Authority, KFF, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation took part in the drill.
Their involvement underscores the collaborative approach to national emergency preparedness and the importance of comprehensive readiness for all types of crises.
