Kuwait witnesses 1,142 traffic accidents in just one week

The country recorded 50,175 traffic violations, 182 vehicles and 18 motorcycles were impounded, and 32 juveniles were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.

  • As many as 22 wanted individuals (for absenteeism, expired residency, or arrest warrants) were detained, along with 46 wanted vehicles, all of whom were referred to the appropriate authorities.

The General Traffic Department continued its traffic enforcement campaigns across all governorates, involving various departments and sections. During these operations, juveniles driving without a license and those engaging in reckless driving were apprehended, along with individuals wanted by the relevant authorities.

The weekly statistics revealed 50,175 traffic violations, the impounding of 182 vehicles and 18 motorcycles, and the referral of 32 juveniles to the Juvenile Prosecution.

Additionally, 22 wanted individuals (for absenteeism, expired residency, or arrest warrants) were detained, along with 46 wanted vehicles, all of whom were referred to the appropriate authorities.

Traffic accident reports recorded 1,142 injury-related accidents and 209 collisions between August 4 to August 8.
