Kuwait welcomes U.S. shift on Syria, underscores support for Syrian people

Kuwait has welcomed the US President Donald Trump’s announcement, during his official visit to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to lift all sanctions on the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, appreciating the significant efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this regard.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry, in a statement, affirmed that this step will support stability, prosperity, and development in the sisterly country, reiterating its support for the Syrian Arab Republic, its people, and all efforts aimed at preserving its sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity, reports Al-Rai daily.
