Kuwait welcomes signing of peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the signing of the Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Cambodia, considering it a significant milestone toward resolving the border dispute between the two countries.
In an official statement issued Sunday evening, the ministry said the agreement “paves the way for consolidating lasting peace and achieving security and stability, in line with the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.”
Kuwait affirmed its full support for diplomatic efforts that seek to resolve disputes through peaceful means, emphasizing that such efforts strengthen security and stability across Southeast Asia and the world.
The ministry also praised the vital role played by the United States of America and the Kingdom of Malaysia in facilitating the agreement, which marks a significant milestone in promoting regional harmony and cooperation.
