Kuwait voices deep concern following strikes on Iranian nuclear sites

Kuwait has voiced deep concern over the escalating developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly the attacks on several nuclear facilities.
The Kuwaiti government described the situation as a dangerous escalation that poses a serious threat to both regional and global security.
In a renewed statement, Kuwait reiterated its earlier position from June 13, 2025, condemning the violation of Iranian sovereignty and the breach of international laws and conventions, reports Al-Rai daily.
It called on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to urgently act to halt these violations and work to preserve peace and stability in the region.
Kuwait stressed the urgent need for an immediate and total cessation of all forms of escalation, urging a complete halt to military operations.
It also called for the adoption of dialogue, restraint, and intensified diplomatic efforts to reach political solutions that can ensure long-term security and stability across the region.
