Kuwait upholds religious tolerance and freedom since its founding

• The Minister of the Amiri Diwan and the Head of the Crown Prince’s Court met Rev. Emmanuel Gharib, Pastor and President of the National Evangelical Church Council in Kuwait, along with representatives of various churches in the country.

Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Head of the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace Rev. Emmanuel Gharib, Pastor and President of the National Evangelical Church Council in Kuwait, along with representatives of various churches in the country, including the Catholic Church, Coptic Orthodox Church, Greek Orthodox Church, Greek Catholic Church, Armenian Orthodox Church, and St. Paul’s Church, to congratulate them on their appointments, Al Jarida newspaper reported.

Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah affirmed that Kuwait has, since its founding, consistently upheld religious tolerance and freedom of belief, ensuring that all residents can practice their faith in a safe environment characterized by coexistence, love, and security, reinforcing the country’s reputation as a land of peace and harmony.
